READING CULTURE/BOOK CLUB
Central to successful studying is the availability of a good library that is functioning well. Our library is stocked with many useful books and the students always make good use of the books and other resources. Students can study in the library as well as borrow books for a short period.
In the future we plan to acquire more books and hope that will enable better studies. Students are expected to visit the library at least once a week. Specific library time is built into the school curriculum and at such times, each class would have the use of the library service. Aside specific periods marked out in the curriculum, students are encouraged at their free time to visit the library to read and borrow books.
This inculcates in them the reading culture, which is very important for success in academics and life. The discipline that is enforced in the library means a lot to the development of the students. They learn to become considerate and aware of other people's needs. Students have monitored access to internet facilities in the library and they are encouraged to make the best use of such facilities for academic purposes, as priority.
